DESCRIPTION

Volvo Car USA LLC (Volvo) on behalf of Volvo Car Corporation, has decided to launch Service Campaign S29639 for certain model year 2015 S60, V60, XC60, S80, XC70 vehicles with engine VIN codes 26, 40, 49.

Volvo has identified that the wire bonding inside the Low Fuel Pressure Sensor (LPS) may dissolve. This condition will trigger a Check Engine Light and a Drivers Information Module (DIM) message, but has no effect on vehicle emissions or drivability.

NOTE: RETAILER MUST CONFIRM VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE REPAIR FOR THIS SERVICE CAMPAIGN.
