Emergency Unlock from the Outside

The vehicle is equipped with a keyless entry system. (Refer to document KEYLESS ENTRY, IMMOBILIZER AND ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION .)

To open the vehicle from the outside without the "keyless" function or smart key, or should the electric release system not be working (e.g. due to flat battery), remove the integrated mechanical key from the smart key.

The emergency lock cylinder is located under the handle of the rear left-hand door.

1. Insert the mechanical key into the lock cylinder (1).

2. Turn the key (2) to unlock the latch and open the door.
   NOTE: Remove the key from the lock after opening to avoid damage to the door handle.
