Rear Shock Absorber: Disposal

  1. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER 
    1. Fully extend the shock absorber piston rod.

    2. Using a drill or similar tool, slowly make a hole in the cylinder as shown in the illustration, and discharge the gas inside.
      NOTE:
      • The gas is colorless, odorless and harmless.
      • Since the discharged gas may cause chips to scatter, cover the drill with a shop rag or piece of cloth when making the hole.
