Solenoid Relay Continuity

  1. Remove solenoid relay located on top of actuator. Using a DVOM, check continuity between solenoid relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure. Continuity should be present.
  2. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. Continuity should be present. Check continuity between terminals No. 4 and 5. Continuity should not be present. If continuity readings are not as specified, replace solenoid relay.
