ISSUE & TIP

Most Toyota vans ride like a hobby horse. This can be greatly improved by increasing the ride height by 1 3/4-inch above the specified height. The torsion bar anchors have long adjusting bolts, but it may be necessary to re-indexing the torsion bar splines on some vehicles to raise the ride height by the required amount. This is not hard to do, but you may need to lower the gas tank a few inches to make the adjustment.
