Inspection steps

  1. Reading of SSM4 data
    1. Using the SSM4, follow the display and read the [Data monitor]. (Refer to DATA MONITOR/ACTIVE TEST )

      Criteria: The normal value on the [Data monitor] is displayed properly.

      SSM4 screen: [Each System] → [Power Window] → [Data monitor]

      Item name Description/display range Normal value Remarks
      [Drivers seat AUTO SW state] Operation signal of switch AUTO for the driver's seat/Display range: OFF - ON ON: AUTO switch is in operation.
      OFF: Neutral      		 -

      OK: Go to next step

      NG: Go to Step  3.

  2. Perform initialization operation.
    1. Initialize the power window regulator master switch ASSY LH (driver's seat). (Refer to REGISTRATION SETTINGS )
    2. Open and close the power window, and ensure it works properly.

      Criteria: It operates properly.

      OK: Go to next step

      NG: Replacement of the power window regulator motor ASSY LH (driver's seat) (Refer to REMOVAL )

      Complete (due to failed initialization)

  3. Replacement of the power window regulator master switch ASSY
    1. Replace with the new or normal power window regulator master switch ASSY, and verify normal operation. (Refer to POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY )

      Result

      RESULT DESCRIPTION

      Item Go to
      Motor operates. A
      Motor does not operate. B
      1. Go to next step
      2. Replacement of the power window regulator motor ASSY LH (driver's seat) (Refer to REMOVAL )

      Complete (power window regulator master switch ASSY is failed)
