SERVICE INFORMATION

Customer's concern: After starting their vehicle, the navigation screen goes white or blank until the key is cycled off and back on again. The customer may be inadvertently causing the condition by shifting the vehicle out of Park, into Reverse and then into Drive, before "Accept" is displayed or the back-up camera view is displayed on the navigation screen. If this is determined to be the case, recommend the customer wait until either the "Accept" screen is displayed or, try shifting into Reverse and allow the back-up camera view to be displayed before shifting the vehicle into Drive. If the customer reports that their navigation screen goes white while remaining in Park or a different concern, further diagnosis will be necessary.
