Starting System / Charging System (H4SO): Starter: Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the air intake chamber. (Non-turbo model) Refer to REMOVAL , Air Intake Chamber.
3. Remove the intercooler. (Turbo model) Refer to REMOVAL , Intercooler.
4. Remove the air intake chamber stay. (Non-turbo model)
   • MT model

5. Disconnect the connector (B) and terminal (A) from starter.

6. Remove the starter from transmission.

NOTE: For the MT model, a bolt is used in place (A).
