Trunk Lid (Sedan)

  1. Disconnect trunk lid switch harness connector. Check continuity between trunk lid switch terminals. SeeFig 1 . If continuity does not exist between any terminals, go to next step. If continuity exists between any terminals, replace trunk lid switch.
  2. Insert key into trunk lock cylinder and turn to unlock position. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace trunk lid switch.
  3. Remove trunk lid switch from trunk lock cylinder. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 3. If continuity does not exist, replace trunk lid switch. If continuity exists, trunk lid switch is okay at this time.
