Installation Procedure

  1. Position the park lock solenoid onto the column and install the screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the park lock solenoid screws to 1.5 Nm (14 lb in).

  2. Connect the park lock solenoid electrical connector.

  3. Install the lower steering column trim cover and the ignition switch bezel.

  4. Install the lower steering column trim cover fasteners.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the steering column trim cover attaching fasteners to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

  5. Install the upper steering column trim cover.
