Crankshaft learn procedure will not run if a misfire is detected or if any other DTCs are set. Repair as necessary.

To perform "crankshaft learn" procedure, set vehicle parking brakes and block drive wheels. Depress accelerator to increase engine speed and release throttle immediately when engine starts to decelerate. After performing learn procedure, engine will respond to normal throttle position/operation.

An intermittent condition may be caused by poor connection, rubbed-through insulation, or a broken wire inside insulation. Check PCM harness connectors for backed-out terminals, improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed or damaged terminals, or poor terminal-to-wire connections before component replacement.
