Brake Pipes: Installation

CAUTION: Brake lines should not be bent or flexed after installation.
  1. Blow inside of NEW brake pipe clean with compressed air.
  2. Position the brake line, remove the plastic plugs and tighten the connecting nuts. Tighten brake pipe nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Bleed the brake system. See BRAKE SYSTEM  under BLEEDING.
  4. Check all the brake pipe connections for leakage.
