To fit

  1. Position the torque converter.
    2. Fig 1: Illustration For Step 1

  2. Check that the torque converter is correctly positioned by placing a steel rule on the torque converter housing's mating surface and measuring the distance between the mating surface and the drive plate's contact surface on the torque converter.

    The distance should be: min. 9 mm.

  3. Fit the gearbox, see TO FIT  under automatic gearbox assembly.
