1. With ignition off, connect ohmmeter between diagnostic socket terminals 7 and 9, Fig. 8. Close throttle and observe ohmmeter. Reading should be zero ohms. Open throttle to wide open position and observe ohmmeter. Reading should be infinite.
2. Disconnect ohmmeter electrical leads, then connect leads to diagnostic socket terminals 9 and 10. Close throttle and observe ohmmeter. Reading should be 6K ohms minimum. Open throttle to wide open position and observe ohmmeter. Reading should be zero ohms.
