Possible fault causes

INFORMATION 

Different fault healing strategies in the engine and transmission control units can lead to a situation in which the original transmission fault no longer exists in the transmission fault memory (healed) but the fault (P0700) nevertheless remains entered in the engine control unit (not yet healed).
