Installation Procedure
- Install the window (1) down into the door (2).
- Lower the window into the window clamps.
- Lower the window.
- Install the inner window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Install the rear door stationary window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Frame Rear Applique Replacement .
- Install the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Window) .
- Start the vehicle in order to make sure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.
- Raise the window to full up position.
- Tighten the window regulator to window retaining bolts (1).
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 8 N-m (71 lb in).
- Inspect the window for correct operation and a tight seal.
- Shut off the vehicle.
- Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
- Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Beltline) .
- Install water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement .
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
IMPORTANT:
Install the window (1) with the aid of an assistant.
IMPORTANT:
The window regulator should be approximately 1/2 way down before installing the window (1).
