Parking Brake Adjustment

NOTE: Ensure operating cables are properly assembled to equalizer bracket prior to cable adjustment.

Using a 7/32" Allen wrench, turn hex socket adjuster on parking brake lever assembly counterclockwise approximately 15 degrees. Self-adjuster will release with a loud snapping noise, and lock-out arm should be felt clicking into position. Lock-out arm must be properly positioned to prevent lock-out rod from rattling. Cycle lever to position cables. Rear wheels should rotate freely.
