DTC B2603: Daytime Running Lights Left Front Control Circuit High: Description

Body control module (BCM) illuminates left front turn signal lamp during daytime running lights operation in day mode. BCM applies steady power to left front turn signal light which illuminates left front turn light in a non-flashing mode.

If BCM detects a short to voltage in supply voltage circuit of left front turn signal light or in left front signal circuit of turn signal switch for more than 20 seconds, DTC B2603 will set.

A current DTC B2603 will clear if short to voltage in supply voltage circuit is no longer detected by BCM. A history DTC B2603 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if conditions for setting DTC are no longer present. DTC will also clear when scan tool is used to clear DTCs.
