Test 1: Security Indicator Light Always On Or Flashing
- Perform reprogramming procedure. See THEFT DETERRENT RELEARN under PROGRAMMING. Attempt to start engine. If engine cranks and starts, go to next step. If engine does not crank and start, go to step 3.
- SECURITY indicator light is on due to malfunction in instrument cluster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article.
- Replace BCM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article.
