Preliminary Checks

  1. Before testing heated windshield system, ensure battery and charging system are functioning properly. Ensure battery terminals and connections are clean and tight. Check for visible windshield system damage.
  2. Use digital volt-ohmmeter capable of reading up to 10,000 ohms. Before proceeding with other tests, perform WINDSHIELD RESISTANCE TEST under PRELIMINARY TEST.
