Repeat interlock

To prevent the DC motors in the luggage compartment lid lifting drives from overheating, a repeat interlock is integrated into the automatic luggage compartment lid actuation (HKL) control unit. The motor running time is added up for the repeat interlock. If the total exceeds a defined entire running time (e.g. 2 minutes), no new actuation is accepted. Any initiated action is always run to the end. After a defined cooling-down period (e.g. 6 minutes), a defined motor running time (e.g. 2 minutes) is possible.
