Fuel Filling Nozzle Shuts Off Repeatedly While Refueling

The fuel filling nozzle turns off repeatedly while filling the fuel tank, regardless of the pump being used.

Defective service valve located within the fuel tank assembly.

The service valve mechanism can stick closed at times and restrict the vapor release to the carbon canister while filling with fuel.

Replace the fuel tank with P/N 16 11 7 349 679 as per repair instruction 16 11 030 "Removing and installing fuel tank (US version NVLD)".

If you are using a Main labor code for another repair, use the Plus code labor operation 16 11 535 instead.
