Steering Wheel Leather Cover Is Peeling 

SITUATION

The steering wheel leather is peeling away from the rear side of the steering wheel.

CAUSE

The adhesive application is poor or insufficient.

CORRECTION

Apply instant adhesive to the affected areas.

PROCEDURE

Refer to the attachment below .

Replacement of the complete steering wheel for this peeling issue will not be accepted by warranty.

Sublet Code 4	$1.00	Reimbursement of up to the amount listed may be charged to sublet code 4 for the Loctite 454 instant adhesive required to perform this repair. Claiming this part number outside of sublet code 4 will result in a delayed or denied claim payment.

Labor operation codes 32 33 000 and 32 33 010 are main labor operations, if you are using a main labor code for another repair; use the corresponding plus code labor operation 32 33 500 or 32 33 510 instead.

Even though labor operation code 32 99 000 ends in "000"; it has a designated FRU allowance, and as described above, it is not considered a main labor operation.
