Front Seat Cushion: Assembly

    Passenger seat with OCS 

    NOTE: The occupant classification sensor is found only on the front passenger seat and is not equipped on all vehicles. A white tag having the letters. "OCS" (occupant classification sensor) will appear under the front of the passenger seat to identify a seat equipped with an occupant classification sensor.
  1. To assemble a passenger seat cushion equipped with an OCS system, install the OCS. For additional information, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .

    2. Heated seats 

  2. Install the cushion heated seat element, if necessary.

    3. All seats 

  3. Install the flexolator to the frame.
  4. Install the seat trim cover to the cushion foam.
  5. Install the frame.

    6. Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis seats 

  6. Install the armrest bracket and the three (two shown) bolts.

  7. Install the armrest cover trim.

  8. Install the armrest.
  9. Install the pin.

  10. Install the retaining clip.

  11. Install the cover.

    12. Marauder seats 

  12. Connect the power lumbar switch electrical connector.

    13. Heated seats 

  13. Slide the heated seat module on the bracket until fully seated into the bracket.

  14. Connect the heated seat module electrical connector.

  15. Connect the cushion heated seat element electrical connector.

    16. All seats 

  16. Fasten the retainers.
    1. Install the pin-type retainer.
    2. Fasten the J-clip.

    17. Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis seats 

  17. Connect the power lumbar electrical connector.

  18. Install the power lumbar switch bezel.

    19. All seats 

  19. Install the seat track. For additional information, refer to SEAT TRACK .
  20. Install the front seat backrest. For additional information, refer to FRONT SEAT BACKREST .
  21. Install the seat. For additional information, refer to FRONT SEAT .
  22. Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
