Remove/Install ELECTROHYDRAULIC Controller Unit (Transmission Installed) - Ar27.19-D-0200TSR

  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury.  Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install

REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS
Connect vehicle diagnosis system and transfer data from electrohydraulic controller unit (1) to vehicle diagnosis system. Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit If electrohydraulic controller unit (1) is replaced. AD00.00-D-2000-06TS
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key.    
3 Disconnect electrical connector from automatic transmission.   AR27.19-D-0750-02TS 
4 Remove oil pan (6) from automatic transmission.   AR27.10-D-7031TSR 
5 Remove oil filter (5). IMPORTANT To do so, detach oil filter (5) downwards. The oil filter (5) is replaced.  
6 Remove electrohydraulic controller unit (1) IMPORTANT
If electrohydraulic controller unit (1) is jammed, carefully pry it off with sealing surfaces covered up.
Otherwise, the sealing surfaces on the transmission housing (3) may be damaged.
IMPORTANT To do this, remove bolts (9).
If the electrohydraulic controller unit (1) is jammed,
use suitable tool to pry electrohydraulic controller unit (1) off transmission housing (3).
 
IMPORTANT Install 
7 Install electrohydraulic controller unit (1).   AR27.19-D-0200-01TSR 
  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process IMPORTANT
The selector valve (7) of the electrohydraulic controller unit (1) must latch into the detent plate's driver (8).
Otherwise, the selector lever positions of the intelligent servo module may not be transferred to the automatic transmission.
IMPORTANT Replace O-rings (10), bolts (9) and plain coupler (4).
Insert plain coupler (4) before installation of electrohydraulic controller unit (1) into transmission housing (3).

    IMPORTANT Screw/bolt, electrohydraulic controller unit to transmission housing *BA27.19-N-1001-01D 
8 Install new oil filter (5).    
9 Install oil pan (6) IMPORTANT Do not add transmission oil yet and do not check oil level yet. AR27.10-D-7031TSR 
IMPORTANT Clean 
10 Clean electrical coupling (2). Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
11 Connect electrical connector to automatic transmission.   AR27.19-D-0750-02TS 
IMPORTANT Bolt, heat shield to transmission housing *BA27.40-N-1007-01I

IMPORTANT
Read out fault memory using vehicle diagnosis system. Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit IMPORTANT Clear existing errors. AD00.00-D-2000-06TS

IMPORTANT
Perform transmission adaptation using vehicle diagnosis system.
Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit
If electrohydraulic controller unit (1) was replaced or repaired. AD00.00-D-2000-06TS
14 Transfer stored data from vehicle diagnosis system into new electric controller unit (1). Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit If electrohydraulic controller unit (1) was replaced. AD00.00-D-2000-06TS
15 Add transmission oil to automatic transmission. IMPORTANT The function and leak tightness of the automatic transmission are checked here. To expel any air pockets from the electrohydraulic controller unit (1), shift through the automatic transmission several times before commissioning. AR27.00-D-0270TSR
