COMPLAINT
Check Engine Light Illuminated
CAUSE
DTC P045100 is set due to a software bug
REMEDY
Updating the ME control unit will resolve this complaint.
For M276 engines: Use add-ons:
- Add-on 4238 for Xentry DVD 12/2014
- Add-on 4225 for Xentry DVD 09/2014
NOTE:
GL-450 from 4JGDF7CE2EA419738 to 4JGDF7CE5EA440471 should have the ME control unit replaced prior to attempting to flash the ME control unit.
