REPLACEMENT WINDSHIELD WIPER INSERTS: Replacement windshield wiper inserts, part no. 000 824 45 27 01 and 000 824 36 27 01, manufactured for MBNA by Tridon, are currently undergoing a redesign and therefore are unavailable.

SERVICE INFORMATION

26/98-2 GROUP 82 - REPLACEMENT WINDSHIELD WIPER INSERTS: Replacement windshield wiper inserts, part no. 000 824 45 27 01 and 000 824 36 27 01, manufactured for MBNA by Tridon, are currently undergoing a redesign and therefore are unavailable. These inserts are applicable to models 124, 129, 201, 202 and 208. Should it be necessary to replace these wiper inserts under warranty during this interim period, the following should be observed: If the spring steel stiffening rails were retained from the original Bosch inserts, then Bosch inserts (same part number without the 01 suffix) may be installed under warranty.

If the steel rails are no longer available, then the entire wiper blade must be replaced since the Bosch inserts require the steel rails to be used. In this case, MBNA will accept a warranty claim to replace the entire blade assembly. In case of warranty: If using Bosch wiper insert use, Damage Code 82024 62. If complete wiper blade is replaced use Damage Code 82023 36.
