DTC U2300-54: Configuration Data

U2300-54: (DSC) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Configuration data
Detection condition
  • The electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM cannot receive the configuration data from the body control module (BCM) or the ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV).
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [DSC] .)
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in CAN communication line between ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV) and electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM
    NOTE:
  2. DTCs are stored in the ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV). (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G)] .)
  3. DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
  4. Electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM malfunction (Refer to [ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in service information.) (Refer to DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on)/main power ON (READY off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
