Removal and Installation
- Disconnect the battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT , .
- Rotate the front end accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and position the accessory drive belt aside.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the generator.
- Position the protective cover aside, remove the nut and position the generator B+ terminal aside.
Tightening Torque
8 Nm {0.8 kgf-m, 71 in-lbf}
- Remove the 3 bolts and the generator.
Tightening Torque
48 Nm {4.9 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
