Removal & Installation

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING & BLEEDING .
  2. Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Unclip and remove the sensor.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
