Inspection (Millenia 2.3L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Ensure throttle valve is in closed position. Disconnect TP sensor connector. Check for continuity between terminals "C" and "D" of TP sensor connector. See Figure. Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, adjust TP sensor.
  2. Insert a feeler gauge of specified thickness between throttle lever and throttle stop screw. See TP SENSOR CONTINUITY (MILLENIA 2.3L)  table. Connect ohmmeter between terminals "C" and "D" of TP sensor connector. See Figure. If continuity is not as specified, adjust TP sensor.
