Removal [05/2023 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2023 - ]
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]
- REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]
- REMOVE FUEL PUMP FILTER
See step 3
- REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the fuel main valve assembly (for Low Pressure).
- Remove the clip from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).NOTE:
Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the fuel main valve assembly (for Low Pressure) from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).NOTE:
Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve assembly (for Low Pressure).
*1 O-ring
- Remove the clip from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the fuel main valve assembly (for High Pressure).
- Remove the clip from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).NOTE:
Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the fuel main valve assembly (for High Pressure) from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).NOTE:
Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve assembly (for High Pressure).
*1 O-ring
- Remove the clip from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).
- Remove the fuel main valve assembly (for Low Pressure).
