Rear Package Tray Speaker: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

  1. INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the speaker with the 4 bolts.
      NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

      HINT:

      Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect the speaker connector.

  2. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Sunshade)  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear seat assembly for power seat (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. Install the rear seat assembly for ottoman (see INSTALLATION ).
    3. Install the rear seat assembly for fixed seat (see INSTALLATION ).
  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Install the rear door scuff plate LH for standard body (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. Install the rear door scuff plate LH for long body (see INSTALLATION ).
  10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. Install the rear door scuff plate RH for standard body (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. Install the rear door scuff plate RH for long body (see INSTALLATION ).
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
