Brake Pedal Height
- Remove cover from below left side of instrument panel. Measure brake pedal height (distance from face of brake pedal pad to asphalt sheet under carpet). See Fig 1. Brake pedal height should be 5.90-6.30" (150-160 mm).
- To adjust pedal height, loosen brakelight switch. Loosen lock nut on brake pedal push rod. Turn push rod until pedal height is as specified. Tighten lock nut on push rod. Adjust brakelight switch. See BRAKELIGHT SWITCH . Check brake pedal free play. See BRAKE PEDAL FREE PLAY .
