DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Abnormal signal inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • ECM (BPS)
  • Air cleaner blocked
Case 1 Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or TPS open volume greater than 90%
Threshold Value
  • Difference between BPS value and MAPS value greater than 1.5 kPa
  • BPS change value below than -5 kPa at every 20s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
Case 2 Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or TPS open volume greater than 90%
Threshold Value
  • Difference between BPS value and MAPS value below than -1.5 kPa
  • BPS change value greater than 5 kPa at every 20s
Diagnostic Time
  • 5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
