DTC P0202-00: Injector Circuit/Open - Cylinder 2: General Description
The electronically controlled fuel injector is a solenoid operated valve which supplies the exact calculated amount of fuel to engine for optimum combustion depending on different engine loads and speeds. To meet the air-fuel ratio required in fuel system, the PCM regulates fuel injection quantity by controlling the fuel injector solenoid operating duration (pulse width) depending on engine speed and output signals from HO2S. The fuel injector is important for precise control, quick response of solenoid is required and for perfect combustion.
