Signal Circuit Inspection

"IG ON".
Disconnect "Oil pump Motor" connector and "OPI" connector.
Measure resistance between each terminal of the "Oil pump Motor" harness connector and "OPI" harness connector as below.
Specification : Approx. 0 Ω

Is resistance within specifications?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good "OPI" or "Oil pump Motor" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "OPI" or "Oil pump Motor" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for Open in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
