Test TC-49A: Pcm Failure EEPROM Write Denied

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For component location and for appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
  1. Using scan tool, perform SRI MEMORY TEST. If scan tool does not display WRITE REFUSED, test is complete. Perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION . If scan tool displays WRITE REFUSED, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, repeat SRI MEMORY TEST. If scan tool displays WRITE REFUSED, replace PCM and perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION . If scan tool does not display WRITE REFUSED, test is complete. Perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION .
