VTSS Test 5B - VTSS Indicator Light

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Perform VTSS TEST 5A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in appropriate BODY CONTROL COMPUTER section in this article. For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS at the end of article. Perform TEST VER-1A after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Disconnect BCM instrument panel 10-pin connector and ensure connector is clean and not damaged. If VTSS indicator light goes off, replace BCM. If VTSS indicator light stays on, repair short to ground in Black/Orange wire circuit.
