EGR Transducer Vacuum Test

Disconnect transducer vacuum lines and backpressure line. Remove transducer. Plug transducer output port. Apply 1-2 pounds air pressure with a hand pump or regulated compressed air to the exhaust backpressure signal port of transducer. Apply minimum of 12 in. Hg to vacuum input port. Replace transducer if it will not hold vacuum.
