ISSUE
The JLR VCI fails to complete a firmware update. The update interface indicates that the update is 100% complete.
CAUSE
The Panasonic CF-54 docking station is affecting the communication of the USB ports within the laptop.
ACTION
- Close SDD application.
- Remove the Panasonic CF-54 from docking station.
- Connect the VCI to one of the ports on the laptop.
- Start the SDD application.
- Connect the VCI to the vehicle.
- Start a new SDD session.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the JLR VCI firmware update.
