Action Taken When DTC Sets

The ECM will turn ON Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) after second trip with detected fault.
The ECM calculates an air flow value based on throttle position, RPM and barometric pressure.
The ECM will store condition which were present when the DTC was set as FREEZE FRAME and in the FAILURE RECORDS data.
