DTC Confirmation Test "C" (Using Generic Scan Tool)

CAUTION: DO NOT use ECM ground terminals when measuring voltage.

Maintain the following conditions for at leat 10 consecutive seconds:

Engine speed more than 2000 RPM.
Engine coolant temperature more than 158°F (70°C).
Voltage between ground and ECM terminal No. 61 (mass airflow sensor signal) more than 3 volts. See Figure and Figure .

If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
