ABS Warning Light Check

  1. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Check ABS warning light for proper operation. If ABS warning light illuminates, go to next step. If ABS warning light does not illuminate, check ABS warning light fuse (10-amp), bulb and warning light circuit. Repair or replace as necessary.
  2. If ABS warning light illuminates, start engine. If warning light goes out, go to next step. If ABS warning light stays on, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  .
  3. Drive vehicle at speeds greater than 20 MPH for at least one minute. Check ABS warning light. If warning light is off, system is okay. If ABS warning light stays on, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  .
