Fuel Temperature Sensor (M30)

The fuel temperature sensor is built into the fuel pressure regulator and senses fuel temperature. When the fuel temperature is higher than the prespecified level, the ECU enriches the fuel being injected by increasing the injection pulse width. This temperature input is also used to determine operation of fuel pressure regulator control solenoid. Fuel temperature sensor must NOT be removed from pressure regulator. Replace regulator/temperature sensor as an assembly.
