Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Variant monitoring
  1. Faulty ESP (ESC)
  2. Variant coding is not finished.
  3. CAN Bus "OFF"
  4. A different type control module is installed.
Threshold value
  • When variant coding is not completed.
  • A failure is detected when the data for variant coding does not correspond to stored variant code in EEPROM, after ignition switch is turned ON.
Diagnosis time
  • -
MIL
  • EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC operation allowed.
  • BRAKE/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps ON
Reset condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON.
