Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition Switch "OFF"
  2. Ignition Switch "ON"
  3. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC), and select correct variant code and press enter.
  4. Check any DTC stored in the system.
  5. Has any DTCs stored in the system?

    YES 

    • Substitute with known-good BSD ECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace BSD ECU and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by faulty BSD ECU or was repaired and BSD ECU memory was not cleared.

      Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
