Electronic Timing & Alarm Control System (ETACS)

WARNING: Vehicle is equipped with seatback-mounted side air bags. Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving seat components. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the lower crash pad panel. See Fig 1 .

Disconnect connectors and remove the ETACS control module. See Fig 2 .
