Removal & Installation (Tiburon)

  1. Remove inside door handle bezel. Remove power window main switch, and disconnect harness connector. Remove screws from inside grip handle. Using a trim tool, remove door trim panel. Remove door panel and disconnect door light connector.
  2. Remove carrier plate bolts from regulator channel. Slide window to closed position, and secure in place. Remove regulator retaining screws. Disconnect power window motor harness connector. Remove regulator assembly. Remove screw attaching power window motor to window regulator. Separate power window motor from window regulator.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. See Figure. Adjust window glass as necessary. See FRONT DOOR GLASS  under ADJUSTMENTS.
