Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

The self-diagnostic system monitors input signals from each sensor. If an abnormal input signal occurs, that item is stored by ECM as a trouble code. Codes can be read with a voltmeter or scan tester. ECM memory will be erased if battery or ECM is disconnected.
